Medspace Solutions Ltd is a progressive business which designs, manufactures and installs joinery and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures and Fittings) for clinical environments, primarily hospitals. Our workshop manufactures cabinetry, solid surface worktops and reception desks, as well as bespoke furniture items.
Due to the company's continued growth, we are seeking an additional Cabinet Maker to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be involved in assembling cabinetry and bespoke furniture, as well as other workshop duties and the use of workshop machinery as required.
Ideally, the successful candidate will have relevant experience in furniture assembly, cabinet making or bench joinery, although full training can be provided for the right person.
Specification
- Previous experience in furniture assembly, cabinet making or bench joinery is preferred.
- Must be able to read and work from CAD/PDF drawings.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Good work ethic and positive attitude to join a growing manufacturing team.
- Reliable and able to take pride in the quality of their work.
An advantage would be:
- Forklift experience.
- Experience using workshop machinery.

There may be other duties required according to need. These will normally be directed to you.
Hours: 08:00 – 16:30, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
22 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays.
Good rates of pay for the right candidate depending on skills and experience;
