Here at SmartFlow Services, we’re an established and growing specialist in Water Supply Pipe repair and installation, and we're looking for external meter installers to grow with us. Our team needs to work on a long term Yorkshire Water Smart Metering contract across Yorkshire. We're looking for subcontractors, either as an existing two-man team or individuals willing to form one, to install external water meters.
Ideally, you’re based in a Sheffield postcode but if you don’t live there, that’s no problem. You must simply be willing to work across the length and breadth of the LS, WF, HD, DN and S postcode areas, with the flexibility to work in other areas on an ad hoc basis. We’ll provide the van, cover your fuel costs, and supply all parts.

Working hours are Monday – Friday 8am-5pm, with weekend overtime available.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Experience in civils, groundworks, utilities, reinstatement, or construction. Ideally meter installation experience.
- Professional when dealing with customers, clients, and members of the public.
- Excellent customer service skills & smart appearance
- Punctual, reliable, and honest
- Highly motivated and flexible
- Recent CRB check (or willing to apply)
- Full UK driving licence (Less than 6 points)
- Due to the role you must be comfortable working outdoor in all weather types
- Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test and random tests on site
- Must be eligible to work on the MGroup / Yorkshire Water contract.
- Will consider teams with own vans/utility compliant vehicles.
Qualifications
- CSCS Card.
- NRSWA Operative Qualification.
- CAT & Genny Training.
- Manual Handling Training.
- Emergency First Aid at Work.
- Previous experience within the water utilities sector.
Pay: This is price work with an OTE £1000+ per week.
