About the Role
As Deputy Manager, you'll work alongside the Home Manager to ensure the highest standards of care, compliance and leadership are consistently achieved. You'll inspire and develop your team, oversee the day-to-day running of the home, support safeguarding, manage audits, and ensure residents receive outstanding, person-centred care that exceeds expectations.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys leading by example, coaching others, and creating a positive culture where both colleagues and residents can thrive.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Is an experienced Team Leader ready for the next step, or an existing Deputy Manager.
- Has experience working within a care setting and understands the needs of older people.
- Is passionate about delivering exceptional, person-centred care.
- Has strong leadership and people management skills.
- Has knowledge of safeguarding, CQC standards and quality assurance.
- Is organised, customer-focused and has excellent attention to detail.
- Can motivate, coach and inspire teams to achieve outstanding outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting the Home Manager with the day-to-day leadership of the home.
- Leading, coaching and developing the care team.
- Ensuring safe, effective and high-quality care is delivered at all times.
- Managing staffing, audits, medication compliance and safeguarding.
- Driving continuous improvement and maintaining excellent standards across the home.
- Building positive relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals.
