Brackenwood Windows Ltd is a long-established and highly respected home improvement specialist operating across the South of England. As our business continues to grow, so does our Conservatory Installation department. We are now recruiting an experienced and highly capable Conservatory & Solid Roof Installer to join our expanding team.
The Role
This is a hands-on and responsible position suited to an organised professional who takes pride in maintaining high standards. The ideal candidate will enjoy working autonomously while contributing to a professional and forward-thinking company.
You will be responsible for the installation of conservatories and solid roof systems across our service areas of Hampshire, Berkshire, Surrey, Dorset, and Oxfordshire, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of solid conservatory roof systems
- Timber frame construction
- Installation of lightweight tiled roof systems
- Plasterboarding and internal finishing
- Fascia, soffit, and guttering installation
- Applying traditional roofing techniques where required
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Ensuring all work complies with company standards and health & safety regulations
- Delivering excellent workmanship and customer satisfaction on every project
Requirements
- Proven experience fitting solid conservatory roofs
- Strong background in timber frame construction
- Experience with lightweight tiled roofing systems
- Competent in plasterboarding and internal finishing
- Knowledge of fascia, soffit, and guttering systems
- Traditional roofing knowledge
- Ability to accurately read and work from technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of workmanship
- Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
