Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and run service at our 16 seat restaurant, Cicely by Adam Banks due to open Summer 2026. We are passionate about local produce, high quality food and exciting wines. The ideal candidate will share our passion for the hospitality industry. This role requires previous experience and wine knowledge.
Duties
- Manage the overall daily operations of the restaurant and run the floor during service, ensuring outstanding levels of customer service
- Collaborate with Restaurant Owner to place wine orders
- Organise staff rotas, delegate tasks and monitor team performance
- Taking guest reservations
- Coordinate with suppliers for inventory management and ensure stock levels are maintained appropriately
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards across all departments
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area
- 5 day working week, 4 days of service + 1 day of restaurant admin on site
Qualities
- Proven supervisory experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- WSET Level 2
- Confidence to run the floor independently during service
We're seeking a self-starter to work within our small team. Someone who relishes the opportunity to build, shape and make this newly created role their own. Candidates should be organised, proactive, and passionate about hospitality excellence to succeed in this position.
Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
