Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Trainer and Assessor to deliver high-quality training programmes and assess learner progress within our organisation. The successful candidate will play a vital role in developing skills, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and supporting learners to achieve their full potential. Duties
- Deliver training sessions aligned with recognised standards and organisational requirements, ensuring clarity and engagement for learners.
- Assess learners’ competence through practical observations, written assessments, and continuous evaluation, maintaining accurate records of progress.
- Develop customised training plans to meet individual learner needs whilst adhering to curriculum guidelines.
- Provide constructive feedback to learners to support their development and improvement.
- Organise and facilitate workshops, seminars, or practical demonstrations as required.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments, training techniques, and assessment methods.
- Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations during training sessions.
- Support learners in preparing for qualifications, including exam preparation and coursework guidance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve training programmes and assessment strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in delivering training programmes within a relevant industry, preferably with a background in plumbing or related trades.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively in English.
- Demonstrated teaching ability with a recognised assessor qualification (e.g., A1/A2 or equivalent).
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple learners’ progress and administrative tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in using IT tools for lesson planning, record keeping, and delivering digital content.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to motivate and engage learners from diverse backgrounds.
- Knowledge of current industry standards, health & safety regulations, and assessment practices.

Pay: £24,420.00-£45,403.26 per year
