Warehouse Assistant – Goods In, Stock Control & Dispatch
Venezia Marketing & Distribution has an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Assistant – Goods In & Warehouse Operations to join our growing team.
For nearly 20 years, we have supported our online business by supplying bathroom spare parts to customers across the UK. This role is based within our warehouse picking and packing operation, working as part of a small, fast-paced team to ensure that all online orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately each day.
The Role
As a Warehouse Assistant, your primary responsibility will be checking incoming deliveries, accurately booking stock into the warehouse and replenishing picking locations to ensure products are always available for dispatch.
You'll also support the picking, packing and dispatch of customer orders, along with general warehouse duties to help the team meet daily deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Checking incoming deliveries against delivery notes and reporting any discrepancies
- Inspecting goods for damage and ensuring stock is received accurately
- Booking stock into the warehouse and putting it away in the correct locations
- Replenishing picking shelves and maintaining stock levels
- Organising the warehouse to keep it clean, tidy and efficient
- Picking customer orders accurately when required
- Packing orders securely for daily dispatch
- Assisting with stock counts and inventory checks
- Supporting general warehouse duties as required
- Following all Health & Safety procedures at all times

Warehouse experience is beneficial, but not essential. We're looking for someone with the right attitude who wants to build a long-term career with us.

Because we are a small team, reliability and punctuality are extremely important in this role.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in being dependable and who can consistently arrive on time ready to start work each morning.

Monday – Friday
8:00am – 4:00pm
Applicants must be comfortable with early starts and consistent attendance.
Salary & Benefits
- £13.00 per hour (approx. £27,000 per year)
- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
