Meetings & Events Coordinator – Telford

We are recruiting a Meetings & Events Coordinator to join a busy and professional hospitality team in Telford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, building client relationships, and ensuring every event runs seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate conferences, meetings, weddings and private events from enquiry through to completion.
- Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and prepare tailored event proposals.
- Produce function sheets and communicate event details effectively with operational departments.
- Conduct venue show rounds and maintain regular communication with clients.
- Ensure all event details are accurate and delivered to the highest standard.
- Support the Meetings & Events team in achieving revenue and service targets.
- Provide excellent customer service before, during and after each event.
Requirements
- Previous experience in Meetings & Events, Events Coordination, Conference & Banqueting, or Hotel Sales.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Confident using Microsoft Office; experience with hotel management systems is advantageous.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional evenings or weekends when required.
