Job Summary
As a Server, you will be the heart of our dining experience, delivering exceptional guest service with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your role is to create a welcoming atmosphere by taking orders, serving food and beverages efficiently, and ensuring each guest leaves satisfied and eager to return. You will work closely with the kitchen team to coordinate food preparation and uphold food safety standards, all while maintaining a lively and positive environment. Your energy and attention to detail will help foster memorable moments for our guests, making every dining experience special.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring timely communication with kitchen staff for efficient service
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation quality and adherence to food safety standards
- Assist guests with menu selections, upselling items to enhance their experience and increase sales opportunities
- Monitor tables regularly to ensure guest satisfaction, address any concerns promptly, and provide attentive guest services
- Clear tables efficiently, handle payments accurately, and thank guests sincerely as they depart
- Support food preparation tasks when needed, including setting up stations and assisting in basic kitchen duties
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly preferred
- Strong background in serving, with a focus on delivering excellent guest services
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling of food and beverages
- Familiarity with basic math for processing transactions and managing tabs accurately
- Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus, providing insight into food preparation processes
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
