Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, managing reservations and seating arrangements efficiently reservation systems
- Take orders accurately ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and beverages professionally, maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols
- Assist with serving tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure a welcoming environment
- Manage guest inquiries and resolve concerns promptly to foster positive guest relations and repeat business
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods with basic food preparation or food handling tasks as needed
Experience
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is a must, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as restaurants
- Demonstrated ability in guest services, serving, bussing, or host/hostess roles with excellent customer relation skills
- Familiarity with POS systems including Touch office POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry
- Experience with reservation management tools like Dojo booking is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
