Formation Lighting is a Specialist Architectural Lighting Manufacturer pushing boundaries in lighting design and manufacturing. We are based in London with production facilities in Stanstead and Somerset. Our approach involves collaborating closely with architects, lighting designers, MEP consultants, and project teams to deliver tailored lighting solutions for commercial offices, retail, leisure, healthcare, industrial and residential.
Role Purpose
Support the successful delivery of customer orders and lighting projects from quotation to order receipt through to delivery and invoicing, acting as a key link between customers, suppliers, production, sales and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
· Process customer sales orders accurately and efficiently.
· Act as a primary point of contact for customer enquiries and order updates.
· Support the Directors with quotations, order tracking, and customer communications.
· Coordinate project documentation, schedules, meetings, and records.
· Monitor project milestones, risks, issues, and follow-up actions.
· Coordinate deliveries with production, logistics providers and site teams.
· Reconcile proof of delivery documentation and maintain accurate records.
· Liaise with purchasing and production teams regarding lead times and deliveries.
· Support invoicing processes and liaise with accounts.
· Provide administrative support to Project Managers, Sales team and Directors.
Skills & Experience
· Experience in internal sales, project coordination, or customer support.
· Excellent organisational and communication skills.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business systems (NetSuite is our system so would be advantageous to have worked with this system, but not essential as full training will be given).
Experience in manufacturing, lighting, or construction sectors is desirable.
Pay: £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
