Working Pattern: Full Time (Typical hours between 8:00am–4:00pm or 8:00am–3:30pm, depending on the school)
Contract: Day-to-Day, Temporary, Short-Term, Long-Term and Permanent Opportunities Available
Salary: £93–£130 per day (dependent on role and experience)

Pink Tile Education is seeking enthusiastic, motivated, and aspiring teachers to support secondary schools across the Crawley area. Whether you're a graduate, career changer, university leaver, or someone with experience working with young people, these opportunities offer an excellent pathway into education.
Working within schools as a Teaching Assistant, Cover Supervisor, or Behaviour Support Mentor, you'll gain invaluable hands-on experience, develop essential classroom skills, and build the confidence needed to progress into teacher training or a long-term career in education.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Supporting students in lessons and helping them engage positively with their learning.
- Assisting teachers with classroom activities, resources, and lesson delivery.
- Delivering pre-planned lessons as a Cover Supervisor when required.
- Providing encouragement and guidance to help students achieve their potential.
- Supporting students with additional learning, behavioural, or emotional needs.
- Building positive relationships with students, staff, and the wider school community.
- Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- Developing your understanding of classroom practice, behaviour management, and effective teaching strategies.
Ideal Candidate:
- Passionate about working with young people and interested in pursuing a career in teaching or education.
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, tutoring, youth work, sports coaching, or working with children or young people, ideally of secondary school age.
- Positive, proactive, and eager to learn and develop professionally.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships.
- Resilient, adaptable, and confident supporting students in a classroom environment.
- Must hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
