The Role and Opportunity
The Scheduling Coordinator is the primary point of control for real-time operations, responsible for synchronising field activity with fluctuating service demands.
This role ensures that organisational KPIs—such as Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and resource utilisation are met through precise monitoring, rapid re-forecasting, and the strategic deployment of personnel throughout the business day.
- Real-Time Monitoring: Tracking field activity, agent/technician locations, and job statuses, often using Workforce Management (WFM) tools.
- Contingency Planning: Proactively adjusting schedules to respond to unexpected events, such as traffic delays, emergencies, or job cancellations.
- Performance Tracking: Monitoring key KPIs, such as job completion rates, service levels, Average Handling Time (AHT), and productivity hours.
- Communication & Dispatch: Interacting with field staff and operational teams to alert them of performance anomalies or scheduling conflicts.
- Data Analysis: Analysing intraday metrics to identify trends, enhance forecasting accuracy, and improve future scheduling efficiency.
- KPI Updates: Updating operational dashboards with actual KPI performance for all workstreams across the operation.
- Working Together: working closely with Service Management and Schedulers to optimise performance.
Core Skills and Qualifications
- Analytical Mindset: Proven ability to analyse operational data and turn it into actionable insights.
- Technology Proficiency: Experience with WFM platforms (e.g., Verint, Genesys) and Microsoft Excel.
- Problem-Solving: Capability to make quick decisions under pressure to optimize resources.
- Good National Geographic Knowledge – Ability to understand the travel impact between job attendance.
- Communication: Effective communication skills to collaborate with field technicians and management.
What We Offer

Competitive Salary - £28,000 to £32,000 DOE
