Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport parcels to residential and commercial addresses with precision and care
- Plan efficient routes to maximize delivery productivity while adhering to schedule commitments
- Communicate clearly with customers upon delivery, providing excellent service and addressing any questions or concerns
- Handle packages with care, including heavy lifting and secure loading/unloading at warehouses or distribution centers
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and vehicle inspection reports throughout your shift
- Follow all safety regulations, traffic laws, and company policies to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for timely dispatching and receiving of goods, supporting overall operational flow
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role, preferably with commercial driving licenses (such as a <PERSON> driver license)
- Strong driving skills with a clean driving record and familiarity with city or regional routes
- Physical ability to lift heavy packages regularly and perform manual handling tasks safely
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous for understanding logistics processes
- Ability to stay organized under pressure while managing multiple deliveries efficiently
- A proactive attitude with a focus on safety, punctuality, and customer satisfaction
