Overview
Greater London · Full-time / regular work · Immediate start ahead of our August launch
CASA is a new premium residential removals company launching across Greater London this August. We're doing removals properly: surveyed pricing, a wrapped fleet, and an experienced crew who treat someone's move like the milestone it is.
We're building that crew from the ground up, and this is our first lead role. We're looking for an experienced remover who can drive, run a job on site, and set the standard for how every CASA move should feel. You'll be the face at the door on moving day, the person leading the team, and the person the customer remembers.
In this pivotal role, you will lead a team responsible for executing efficient removals, managing logistics operations, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your leadership will drive process improvements, uphold safety standards, and deliver exceptional service during every move. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for teamwork, logistics, and hands-on operations to make a tangible impact in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate your removal team to ensure smooth execution of moving projects, including packing, loading, transporting, unloading, and reassembling items with precision and care.
- Drive company vehicles safely and efficiently to transport clients’ belongings to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Oversee materials handling activities, including packing supplies, furniture, and equipment, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent damage
- Be the customer's main point of contact on the day: calm, clear, and reassuring
- Set the pace and the standard for porters working in your removals team.
- Manage your removal teams schedule for the day: assign tasks effectively, and motivate team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high safety standards
Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership ability in managing teams within a warehouse or moving setting with excellent team management skills
- Ideally 2 years of experience in removals in the UK
- Excellent customer service. You understand this is someone's home, not just a load
- Physically fit and comfortable with the demands of the job
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment used in removals or warehouse operations
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating large vehicles or trucks is advantageous
What We Offer:
