The Goat Restaurant is a busy and welcoming dining destination known for excellent food, friendly service, and a warm atmosphere. We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Front of House Team Members to join our team and help deliver an outstanding dining experience to our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting and seating guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Taking food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serving food and beverages to guests and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Preparing and maintaining dining areas to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
- Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally.
- Processing payments and operating the till system accurately.
- Assisting with opening and closing duties as required.
- Working closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service.
- Maintaining good knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and promotions.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or customer service role is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, friendly, and professional attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to support colleagues.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to high service standards.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
Desirable Skills
- Experience using EPOS/till systems-preferred but not essential.
- Previous experience in table service and cash handling.
