WE’RE HIRING | CALF FEEDER / FARM ASSISTANT
National Minimum Wage
We’re looking for someone reliable and hands-on to join the team at our Dairy, helping to look after and feed our calves.
This is an approx. 20 - 25 hour-per-week role, working a mixture of early morning and evening calf-feeding shifts.
The role will include:
- Preparing milk and feeding calves
- Morning and evening feeding routines
- Cleaning bottles, buckets and feeding equipment
- Keeping calf pens clean, dry and well bedded
- Checking calves and keeping an eye on their general health and wellbeing
- Helping with other routine animal-care duties when required
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and biosecurity
We’re looking for someone who is dependable, practical and comfortable working with animals. Previous farm or livestock experience would be great.
You’ll need to be physically fit, happy working outdoors in all weathers and, most importantly, someone we can rely on to turn up when our calves are waiting for their breakfast!
Approx. 20 - 25 hours per week
Early morning & evening shifts
Weekend working will be required.
Expected hours: 20.0 – 25.0 per week
