Showroom Sales Consultant – Full Time - Ballymena
Job Purpose
The role involves engaging with retail and trade customers, supporting them through the design and purchase process, and ensuring the showroom maintains high presentation standards.
- Deliver an exceptional in-showroom experience, confidently welcoming customers and identifying their needs.
- Provide expert advice on bathroom products, layouts, finishes, and design solutions.
- Create tailored bathroom designs, including 2D/3D plans, to bring customer visions to life.
- Prepare accurate quotations, process orders, and proactively follow up to convert enquiries into sales.
- Consistently work towards and achieve individual and showroom sales targets.
- Manage after-sales queries efficiently, coordinating with suppliers and logistics teams where required.
Person Specification
Essential
- Experience in bathroom or home design and retail sales, with confidence in a customer-facing showroom environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong ability to understand customer needs and recommend tailored solutions.
- Good numeracy skills for preparing quotations and processing sales accurately.
- Experience using design software (e.g. for 2D/3D bathroom planning).
- Self-motivated and target-driven, with a proactive approach to sales.
- Professional, confident, and approachable manner.
Desirable
- Knowledge of bathroom products, plumbing basics, or interior design principles.
- Existing relationships with trade customers or industry contacts.
Working Conditions
- Full-time role, including Thursday evening and Saturdays on a rota basis.
- Showroom-based with occasional site visits for trade customers.
