We are currently recruiting a professional and reliable SIA Licensed Door Supervisor to work at a busy licensed pub in the Horbury (WF4) area every Saturday evening from 6:00pm to 12:00am. Additional paid shifts may be available during Bank Holidays, special events, and other operational requirements.
The Role
As the Door Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for customers and staff while ensuring the venue operates in line with licensing requirements and company standards.
Responsibilities:
Welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Monitor entry and exit points, checking identification where required.
Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers, staff, and visitors.
Prevent and de-escalate conflict using effective communication and professional judgement.
Respond promptly and appropriately to incidents and emergencies.
Carry out regular patrols of the venue as required.
Complete accurate incident reports and maintain activity logs.
Work closely with venue management, staff, and emergency services when necessary.
Assist with the safe and orderly dispersal of customers at closing time.
Maintain a smart and professional appearance at all times.
Essential Requirements
Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
Previous experience working in pubs, bars, clubs, or licensed premises.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong conflict management and observational skills.
Calm, confident, and professional under pressure.
Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to the regular Saturday evening shift.
Desirable
Emergency First Aid at Work qualification.
Knowledge of licensing legislation and best practices within the hospitality sector.
What We Offer
£13.50 per hour.
