Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining excellent clinical standards. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral health issues using clinical assessment and medical imaging tools.
- Develop personalised treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, explaining procedures clearly and compassionately.
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures including restorations, extractions, root canals, and cosmetic treatments.
- Utilise CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology for designing dental restorations such as crowns and bridges.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with legal and organisational standards.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral health.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and sterilisation procedures to maintain a safe clinical environment.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in dentistry through continuous professional development activities.
Experience
- Proven experience as a practising Dentist with a valid registration with the General Dental Council (GDC).
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy relevant to dental practice.
- Proficiency in using medical imaging techniques for diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Experience with CAD software for designing dental restorations is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
