Pastry Kitchen
Claridge’s Pastry Kitchen is a place of artistry, discipline and indulgence. As a Pastry Chef at Claridge’s, you will be a part of a team that marries precision with imagination and brings together elegant flavours and flawless presentation. Whether preparing Afternoon Tea or creating signature pastries for Claridge’s ArtSpace Café, you will be immersed in a world of fine detail, calm mastery and creative devotion.
As a Casual Pastry Chef de Partie, your main duties will be to:
- Prepare ingredients for and during service, working alongside the Pastry team
- Ensure that the highest standards are maintained in the preparation of food
- Manage and support a team of Commis Chefs and Demi Chef de Parties on the section
- Ensure that the kitchen areas, equipment and utensils are always kept clean and tidy
- Maintain a positive relationship with the kitchen and front of house team
Successful candidates for our Casual Pastry Chef de Partie opportunity will:
- Have worked in a similar role, within a five-star or fine dining environment.
- Ability to demonstrate advanced patisserie skills, including chocolate tempering
- Have a passion for food, quality products and seasonal ingredients.
- Be confident in leading, supporting and motivating a team.
- Be a team player with good communication skills.
- Have a thorough understanding of Forbes and LQA Standards.
