As a Senior Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.

Managing a portfolio of clients, providing proactive advice and maintaining strong client relationships.

Preparing and reviewing corporation tax and self-assessment tax returns.

Reviewing and submitting VAT returns.

Liaising effectively with clients, HMRC and colleagues to resolve queries and provide technical support.

Assisting with the development and mentoring of junior team members.

Supporting managers and partners with client projects and practice development where required.
To be successful in this role, you'll have:

ACA or ACCA qualification (or be qualified by experience).

Previous experience working within an accountancy practice.

Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and UK accounting standards.

Experience managing client relationships and handling a varied portfolio.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.
