Head Bartender | Mala
We are looking for an experienced and confident Head Bartender to join the team at Mala in Manchester City Centre.
This is a hands on role for someone who can lead from behind the bar, maintain high standards and help ensure every service runs smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Leading the bar team during service
- Preparing and serving cocktails, spirits, wine, beer and other drinks
- Maintaining consistently high drink and presentation standards
- Training and supporting bartenders
- Managing stock levels, restocking and reducing wastage
- Ensuring opening and closing procedures are completed correctly
- Keeping the bar clean, organised and fully prepared for service
- Handling customer queries professionally
- Supporting management with the day to day running of the bar
- Ensuring licensing, health and safety procedures are followed
What We Are Looking For
Previous experience as a Head Bartender, Senior Bartender or similar role is preferred. Strong cocktail knowledge and experience working within a busy hospitality environment are essential.
You should be confident leading a team, organised, reliable and able to remain professional during busy services.
