About the Role
We’re looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Insight Analyst to join our Technology & Transformation team and play a key role in improving business performance through data-driven insight.
This isn’t a traditional reporting role.
You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across Operations, Client Services and Technology to answer complex business questions, identify opportunities to increase cash collections and revenue, and provide actionable recommendations that influence business strategy.
You’ll also help shape the future of our collections operation by developing predictive analytics and machine learning models that optimise customer contact strategies and maximise collection performance.

What You’ll Be Doing

Partner with senior stakeholders to investigate complex operational and commercial challenges.

Analyse collections performance, customer behaviour and operational data to identify opportunities to improve cash and revenue performance.

Produce clear, actionable insight and recommendations that influence strategic business decisions.

Evaluate the effectiveness of collection strategies and identify opportunities for optimisation.

Develop predictive machine learning models to improve customer contact strategies and maximise customer engagement.

Identify the most effective communication channels, timing and treatment strategies for different customer segments.

Work with large datasets using SQL and Python to uncover trends, patterns and opportunities.

Support the development of AI-driven decision making across the business.

Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and clients in a clear, commercially focused way.

Collaborate with our Data Analyst to ensure reporting and insight complement each other.
About You
You’ll be naturally curious and enjoy answering difficult business questions using data.
You’ll be confident challenging assumptions, investigating root causes and translating technical analysis into practical recommendations that deliver measurable business improvements.
Essential Skills & Experience

Proven experience in an Insight Analyst, Commercial Analyst or Data Science role.

Strong commercial and analytical mindset.

Advanced SQL skills.

Strong Python experience for data analysis and predictive modelling.

Experience building and deploying machine learning models.

Strong understanding of statistical analysis and predictive analytics.

Experience working with large, complex datasets.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
-
Ability to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences.
Desirable
-
Experience within debt collection, financial services or credit management.
-
Knowledge of customer contact strategies and collections operations.

Experience using Power BI.

Experience with AI, predictive modelling and customer segmentation.

Understanding of modern machine learning techniques such as Random Forest, Gradient Boosting, XGBoost or similar predictive models.

Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms.
