Overview
We are looking for resilient, proactive, and motivated Enabling Support Workers to join our community-based team. Unlike traditional care, enabling is about "doing with," not "doing for." We are looking for staff who are committed to long-term consistency to help our clients reach their personal goals.
Responsibilities
- Your objective is to provide high-quality, person-centred support that promotes independence and social inclusion. Key responsibilities include:
- Outcome-Focused Support: Assisting service users to develop life skills, such as budgeting, cooking, and using public transport.
- Community Access: Using your vehicle to support service users in accessing social activities, employment, or education.
- Positive Behaviour Support: Implementing strategies that encourage emotional regulation and wellbeing.
- Administrative Integrity: Maintaining precise records of progress against set goals and ensuring all compliance documentation is audit-ready.
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence & Access to a Vehicle: This is an essential requirement for this community-based role.
- Resilience and Reliability: We require staff who understand the importance of consistency for the people we support.
- Values-Based Approach: You must be patient, encouraging, and possess a "can-do" attitude.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with service users, families, and multi-disciplinary health teams.
