PJ Camping Ltd are a leading independent Camping and Outdoor Equipment Retailer and Cylinder Gas Distribution Agent with operations based in Hertfordshire and Norfolk. Trading as both PJ Outdoors and Edwards Holmes, we are currently looking for an experienced administrator to oversee all areas of our customer service operations.
Whilst the role is based at the Service and Logistics Centre in Wicklewood, Norfolk, there will be the occasional need to travel to the retail store in St Albans and to national and regional show locations.
The Customer Service Administrator must be organised and have the ability to operate in a customer pressured environment. A “can do” attitude and an ability to multi-task are crucial as well the flexibility to take on a wide variety of tasks. The ability to follow due process along with strong customer service skills is essential as well as the ability to work unsupervised. Knowledge of retail operations and consumer law are desirable.
This is a crucial role in an evolving environment. Key responsibilities will include:
- Respond to customer enquiries whether via telephone, email or social media.
- Manage product returns and ensure associated paperwork is completed.
- Work closely and oversee customer service operations at the Retail Store.
- Expedite and manage customer returns in a timely fashion.
- Liaise with manufacturers for warranty and third party repair services.
- Contracts management with third party service providers.
- Assist with telephone and online orders.
- Assist with retail activities if required.
- Setting up new products on the e-commerce sites.
- Support warehouse operations when required.
- Coordinate stock deliveries and courier collections.
- General office duties and records maintenance.
- Provide PJ Board with information and reports as and when required.
- Reports to the Retail Operations Manager.
Requirements include:
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience in working with Social Media
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Applications
- Awareness of consumer rights
Candidates must be able to demonstrate an ability to communicate at all levels, be customer focussed and have a flexible approach to working in a busy environment.
