Zest Education is proud to be working in partnership with a fantastic primary school in the Bournville area, launching a brand-new resource base provision this September. We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Practitioner to be part of this exciting new chapter.

About the role
You’ll be supporting pupils with a variety of additional needs, including:
- SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health)
- ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder)
- ADHD
- Physical disabilities
- Behavioural needs
No two days will be the same – this is a dynamic, ever-evolving environment where adaptability and a nurturing approach are key.
Who we’re looking for
We’re seeking someone who is:
- ✅ Level 3 qualified (or above) in a relevant childcare or education qualification
- ✅ Passionate about supporting children with additional needs
- ✅ Committed, resilient, and proactive
- ✅ Able to build strong, positive relationships with pupils and staff
- ✅ Confident working in a setting with varying and changing needs

Zest Education are an APSCo audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
