Full-Time SEND Teaching Assistant – Primary Setting

Now Education is seeking a committed and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to work full time in a supportive primary setting in Wellingborough.
This role involves supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including those who require personal care. The successful candidate must be comfortable assisting with personal care needs and have prior experience in a care or educational setting.
The Role:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs
- Support pupils with personal care where required
- Assist in implementing EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
- Support emotional regulation and social development
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
- Help create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working in a care or education setting (essential)
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEND
- Comfortable providing personal care
- Patient, resilient and nurturing approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passionate about supporting children’s development
