Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Property Maintenance Housing Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our housing properties. This role involves coordinating maintenance activities, managing tenant relations, and ensuring the smooth functioning of administrative tasks. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee routine maintenance and repairs across multiple housing units to ensure properties are well-maintained and compliant with safety standards.
- Manage tenant relations by addressing enquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining positive communication.
- Utilise, property management software such to update records, process maintenance requests, and generate reports.
- Carry Out weekly Health and Safety property audits.
- Assist with tenant activities, including void turnarounds.
- Maintain professional phone etiquette when liaising with tenants, contractors, and vendors.
- Organise schedules for maintenance activities and coordinate external contractors as needed.
- Ensure all administrative tasks are completed efficiently to support operational excellence within the housing community.
Experience
- Previous experience of property maintenance property management is preferred.
- Familiarity with Arthur or similar property management software is highly desirable.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail in maintaining accurate records.
- Proven organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, including professional phone etiquette and customer service orientation.
- Experience in upselling or promoting additional services or units is a plus.
