Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Door Staff/Security Guard to work on our door at weekends. The contract is Zero hour but will usually be between 7 and 10 hours per week.
The ideal candidates will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises, staff, and visitors. This role involves conducting regular patrols, guarding the door to the club and implementing loss prevention strategies to protect property and assets.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, providing first aid assistance when necessary.
- Prepare detailed incident reports for any security breaches or unusual occurrences.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement when required during investigations or emergencies.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter potential security threats and reassure staff and visitors.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a security role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of first aid procedures is highly desirable.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
