Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Floor Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and smooth operation of the venue. Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is advantageous, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued. Duties
- Welcome and serve guests in a professional and friendly manner
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as required
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and service stations
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and hygiene regulations
- Set up tables, organise seating arrangements, and clear tables promptly
- Support baristas with beverage preparation when necessary
- Handle cash transactions and operate POS systems accurately
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods
- Assist in event catering setups and breakdowns as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is preferred but not essential; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are important qualities
- Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable
- Experience in food preparation or restaurant environments is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
- Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
- A good understanding of customer service principles and team collaboration skills
