Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Care Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of care home specialising in senior care, dementia care, and Alzheimer's care. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of resident care, managing staff, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. Duties
- Lead and supervise the care home team, ensuring effective delivery of personalised care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
- Oversee medication administration and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Develop and implement care programmes specialising in dementia and Alzheimer's care.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, making improvements where necessary.
- Manage staffing schedules, recruitment, training, and performance appraisals.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, health and safety regulations, including safeguarding policies.
- Foster a warm, welcoming environment that promotes dignity, independence, and well-being for residents.
- Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and regulatory bodies as required.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care and operational procedures.
Experience
- Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home environments with a focus on senior care.
- Extensive knowledge of dementia care and Alzheimer’s disease management.
- Demonstrable leadership skills with supervising or management experience within a care home setting.
- Background in nursing or healthcare-related qualifications is highly desirable.
- Experience in developing and managing personalised care plans.
- Familiarity with medication administration procedures and compliance standards.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to lead a multidisciplinary team effectively.
- Previous experience in managing budgets, staff rotas, and operational workflows within a home care environment is advantageous.

Pay: £30,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
