Hours
- Day shift: 5am–5pm or 9am–9pm, 4 on 4 off rota
- Must be able to work full-time on a long-term basis
The role of Skilled Food Operative:
- Producing high-quality bread, muffins, and rolls as part of the team on a production line
- Supporting shift leaders to achieve targets
- Keeping the work area hygienic
- Potentially standing for up to 12 hours depending on shift
The ideal Skilled Food Operative:
- Experience in food production — essential
- Reliable with the ability to show initiative
- Flexible and adaptable to work across departments
- Great communication skills
- Must live in the local area (Cwmbran/Pontypool)
Regular work following a rota schedule leading to a permanent position.
The environment is very hot to work in and the work is manual, requiring some heavy lifting.
