PART-TIME DELIVERY DRIVER AND WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT
We are looking for a reliable Delivery Driver to join our warehouse team, delivering wine to our sites across Manchester and Cheshire, and supporting our wholesale operations.
One fixed day per week, 8am–3pm (7-hour contract). The day is flexible between Tuesday and Friday, with the ability to cover annual leave for other members of the driving team when necessary.
THE ROLE
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this role is key to making sure our wine reaches customers and wholesale accounts safely, on time and in great condition.
You'll be responsible for planning efficient routes, loading and unloading stock carefully, and representing Reserve Wines professionally with every customer you meet on the road.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver wine and related products to customer sites and wholesale accounts, on schedule and in full
- Load and unload stock safely, checking deliveries against orders before leaving the warehouse
- Plan routes efficiently, allowing for site access, delivery windows and traffic
- Handle stock with care to avoid breakages or damage in transit
- Build good working relationships with customers and wholesale accounts
- Report any delivery issues, damages or discrepancies promptly
- Keep the vehicle clean, roadworthy and stocked with any required paperwork
- Support the wider warehouse team with loading, picking and stock tasks when not on the road
- Cover annual leave for other members of the driving team when required
ABOUT YOU
- Reliable, punctual and safety conscious
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Good communicator, comfortable representing Reserve Wines with customers
- Physically fit and comfortable lifting and carrying cases
- Flexible and willing to cover colleagues when needed
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Full, valid UK driving licence with a clean record
- Previous delivery or driving experience preferred
- Warehouse or logistics experience beneficial
- Customer-facing experience an advantage
SALARY & PACKAGE
7 hours per week, one fixed day between Tuesday and Friday (8am–3pm)
National Living Wage (currently £12.71 per hour)
