Job Summary

As a vital part of our kitchen operation, the Sous Chef will assist the Head Chef in managing daily food preparation, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained. Duties
- Assist the Head Chef in overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including food production and presentation.
- Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow.
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to, maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen.
- Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory management, and place orders as required.
- Train new team members on food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and service standards.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain a positive working environment that promotes teamwork and high performance.
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience within a professional kitchen environment.
- Experience in food production, cooking, and food preparation.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
