Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that enhances their overall experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies.
- Uphold strict health, safety, and sanitation standards across all front-of-house and behind-the-bar areas
- Assist with supporting kitchen staff during busy periods or special events such as banquets or catering functions.
- Handle food safety and hygiene protocols diligently, adhering to all health regulations related to food handling and beverage service.
- Support catering events by setting up bars, serving drinks, and ensuring guest satisfaction during large gatherings or private functions.
- Monitor stock levels regularly, restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation throughout shifts.
Experience
- Previous experience working in a hospitality environments is highly desirable.
- Proven customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Experience serving food and beverages in busy settings such as restaurants, bars, or catering events.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Barista experience or familiarity with specialty coffee preparation can be advantageous.
- Background in the food industry or hospitality sector demonstrates adaptability and strong teamwork skills.
