Original Note Security Services is a new premium security contractor network covering West London and the Thames Valley. We work with corporate, residential and events clients who expect a higher standard — and we pay above market rates to match.
We're building a network of professionals who understand what real standards look like. If you've served in the police or military, you already know the difference between someone who does the job and someone who owns it. That's who we're looking for.
The role
Self-employed SIA-licensed security contractor. This is not an employment position. You invoice us for hours worked, manage your own tax, and choose when you work. No obligation on either side — we offer assignments, you decide whether to accept.
What we're looking for
- Valid SIA licence (Door Supervisor or Security Guard)
- Enhanced DBS certificate
- First Aid at Work (FAW) or Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)
- Right to work in the UK
- Professional presentation and conduct — our clients notice
- Reliable, punctual, and able to represent premium clients to a high standard
- Own transport preferred
- Based in or within commutable distance of West London or Thames Valley
What we offer
- £15–£20 per hour depending on assignment type — above market
- Quality assignments: corporate offices, luxury residential, events
- Flexible working — full time, part time, ad hoc, weekends, nights
- Self-employed basis — you invoice us, no guaranteed hours, no obligation either side
Our standards
Every contractor is personally interviewed and vetted before any assignment. SIA licences, DBS, and first aid qualifications are all verified. We conduct scenario-based interviews. We don't send bodies — we deploy professionals.
All contractors are required to use Original Note, our GPS-timestamped incident logging platform, on every assignment. It protects you as much as it protects the client.
Original Note Security Services is founded and run by a former Metropolitan Police officer with 13 years' service including SCO19 Specialist Firearms Command. We know what good looks like.
