Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Hotel Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations within our hotel premises. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising maintenance staff, ensuring the smooth functioning of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems, and managing repair projects efficiently. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with strong leadership abilities to contribute to the upkeep and safety of our hotel environment. The position is paid and requires a dedicated individual capable of managing multiple tasks with attention to detail.
Duties
- Oversee daily maintenance and repair work across the hotel.
- Manage preventative maintenance programmes on a monthly basis.
- Supervise contractors and coordinate projects and refurbishments.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and fire regulations.
- Conduct regular property inspections and respond to guest maintenance needs.
- Manage department stock, and liaise with service contractors.
- Ensuring the hotel compliance is up to date and that all chekcs are perfomed within deadlines.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment servicing for audit purposes.
- Collaborate with external contractors or suppliers as necessary for specialised repairs or procurement of parts.
Qualifications
- Proven management /Supervisory experience within a maintenance or engineering environment, preferably in the hospitality sector.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- The ability to read technical schematics and wiring diagrams accurately is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with previous supervising experience in a team setting.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Relevant qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering are advantageous but not essential if complemented by substantial hands-on experience.

Pay: £33,500.00 per year
