Duties
- Assist in food preparation and cooking processes, following established recipes and standards
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes efficiently and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing utensils and equipment
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations at all times
- Support the team during meal service, including serving dishes when required
- Monitor stock levels and notify management of supplies needed
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or cooking is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided
- Knowledge of kitchen safety procedures and food hygiene standards is advantageous
- Experience working in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred
- Familiarity with meal preparation, food safety protocols, and serving practices will be beneficial
- A genuine interest in food and cooking
