Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Plasterer/Multi skilled tradesperson to join our team, working across residential properties to deliver high-quality repair, maintenance and refurbishment works. The successful candidate will carry out all aspects of plastering, including patch repairs, skimming, plaster boarding and rendering, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, enjoys working as part of a team, and is committed to providing excellent service to residents and clients.
Main Duties and Key Responsibilities
- Complete all plastering duties as required on site including but not limited to constructing walls, boarding out and plaster boarding (desirable).
- Complete rending works as required
- Undertake labouring duties as required including but not limited to bricklaying, drainage, externals and rendering works.
- Ensure all work is completed to the required standard and deadlines.
- Perform any other duties within your capabilities as assigned.
- Adhere to safe working practices at all times in accordance with company Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure that the correct tools, uniform and PPE are worn at all times and any items not fit for purpose are reported to the relevant Team Leader on site.
- Ensure that the appropriate RAMS are completed prior to commencing work and escalate any concerns to the relevant Team Leader on site.
- Support the Construction Team Leader with duties as required.
Key Skill/Experience Requirements
Required:
- 3+ Years of Plastering experience in residential and commercial settings
- 3+ Years of construction site experience
- Valid UK Driving License
- Experience following H&S RAMS
- Attention to Detail
Preferred:
- Relevant NVQ or Qualification in Plastering
- Experience with Rendering and Coving
- Valid CSCS Card
Your work will take you into buildings with children and vulnerable adults, therefore you will be asked to complete an enhanced DBS check.
