Due to significant growth in our business, we're looking for an experienced bookkeeper to join the team.
Our bookkeeping work for our clients has grown significantly over the last few years and we now have a number of colleagues doing this work with varying levels of experience. The work will involve all aspects of bookkeeping.
The successful applicant to this role will have at least two years' experience in bookkeeping, ideally in an accountancy practice setting but not essential.
We primarily use Xero but also use Sage (the cloud version in the main), and other smaller pieces of software too. Experience in both Sage and Xero would be beneficial but at least one is essential.
This role will also involve an element of processing payroll - around 10-20% of the role - no experience is necessary but if you've been involved with payroll before, please let us know in your covering letter.
Our firm currently has six offices across the East Midlands. This role will be office based in one of the Leicester, Melton, Stapleford or Matlock offices. Travel between offices will be required every now and then, mileage will be covered.
The role is listed for a full-time position, however, we will consider applicants that require part-time hours. Please let us know your availability in your covering letter. The business needs does not allow for working from home, this is strictly an in-person role.

The salary for this role will be set at what we think is appropriate based on your experience, should you be successful.

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
