An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join the Residential Property team of a highly regarded, award-winning law firm with offices across the UK and an excellent reputation for client service.
This role offers the flexibility to be based in Peterborough or Stamford, with hybrid working available. You'll join a supportive and collaborative team, managing a varied caseload while benefiting from genuine career development opportunities and an outstanding benefits package.
The Role
You'll be responsible for managing your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, delivering an exceptional service to clients throughout the transaction.
Your workload will include:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Remortgages
- Transfers of equity
- Shared Ownership transactions
- New Build purchases
- Lease extensions
- Complex residential property matters
- Post-completion work and file closure
You'll work closely with clients, estate agents, lenders and other professionals to ensure transactions progress efficiently while maintaining the highest levels of client care and compliance.
The successful candidate will also provide technical support to colleagues where required and assist in developing professional relationships with introducers and other external contacts.
Please note that occasional travel and some out-of-hours attendance may be required for networking events, meetings and training.
About You
Applications are welcomed from candidates who can demonstrate:
- Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX) or equivalent experience
- Proven experience managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload independently
- Strong technical knowledge across all aspects of residential property transactions
- Experience handling more complex matters, including Shared Ownership, New Builds and Lease Extensions, would be advantageous
- Confidence resolving title issues and technical property matters
- Previous experience using a Case Management System (CMS)
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and client care abilities
- A proactive, professional and collaborative approach
