About the Role
We are currently seeking dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistants to work in a range of supportive and dynamic schools across London. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and committed to making a positive impact on students’ learning and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and structured lessons
- Work with small groups or on a one-to-one basis to support student progress
- Assist in managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment
- Provide targeted support for students with additional needs, including SEND
- Help prepare classroom resources and learning materials
- Contribute to assessment and feedback where appropriate
Requirements
- Essential: Previous experience working within UK education settings
- Strong understanding of the UK curriculum and classroom expectations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
- A proactive and flexible approach to supporting learning
Desirable
- Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2/3) or HLTA status
- Experience supporting students with SEND
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
