Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner Level 3 to join our vibrant early childhood education team, This role is immediate start and offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on young children's development by providing high-quality care and education in a nurturing Montessori environment. As a Nursery Practitioner Level 3, you will play a key role in creating a prepared environment, supporting children's individual needs, and fostering a safe, inclusive space for learning and growth. Your energy, and organisation skills will help ensure the smooth daily operation of the nursery while promoting a joyful atmosphere where children can thrive.
Responsibilities
- Deliver stimulating and age-appropriate activities that support children’s developmental milestones
- Supervise and care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Support children’s emotional, social, and physical development through positive interactions and guidance
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and any incidents or observations
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to update them on their child's development and daily experiences
- Manage daily routines including mealtimes, naps, playtimes, and learning activities with enthusiasm and professionalism
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood setting
- Strong knowledge of childcare practices, early childhood education principles, child development stages and Montessori.
- Excellent communication skills in English to engage confidently with children, parents, and team members
- Prior nursery experience demonstrating familiarity with safeguarding policies and health & safety regulations
Pay: From £13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
