Hourly Rate: £13.80 to £14.03 (dependent on experience)
JOB TITLE: Yard & Warehouse Co-Ordinator
REPORTS TO: Supply Chain & Logistics Manager, Logistics and Stock Controller.
DIRECT REPORTS: Production Staff
Objectives:
· As a Stores Co-Ordinator you will support the successful operation of the site through the safe, efficient and timely off loading, storage, and loading of stock, finished goods and materials.
· You will be required to support the Supply Chain Manager and the Yard Supervisor in their duties which may require driving to local customer and supplier sites in Company owned vehicles.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
To ensure all:
· safety checks are completed on any vehicle used for transportation of good.
· safety checks are completed on forklift trucks and pedestrian pallet stacker before use with faults reported immediately to your Line Manager and corrective action(s) taken
· stock is loaded correctly and safely onto vehicles.
· stock is unloaded correctly and safely into site.
· forklift trucks, pallet stackers and pallet trucks are used safely in accordance with training.
· forklift trucks are used in accordance with Company policy
· goods, stock and materials are stored as per specifications/requirements.
· goods, stock and materials are stored and used in correct rotation.
· deliveries are completed in a safe and timely manner
· delivery documentation is correctly authorised and forwarded to Accounts department.
· discrepancies on deliveries and/or loading are resolved quickly or escalated to Line Manager.
· accidents and incidents are reported immediately to the Operations Manager
· driving insurance claims, penalty points or disqualifications are immediately reported to the company
· mandatory Health and Safety and Food Safety refresher training is completed
· Health and Safety rules are followed as per company procedures
Competency & Skills
· Previous experience working as an FLT driver is essential.
· Previous experience of using pallet stackers (desirable)
· Ability to complete daily vehicle Health and Safety checks
· Ability to follow Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures
- Attention to detail for ensuring smooth and accurate deliveries documentation is completed
· Ability to work as an active and constructive member of a team
· Ability to work under pressure and achieve deadlines
· Strong organisation and communication skills
· Previous experience working as an FLT Driver – ESSENTIAL
· Must be computer literate with a good working knowledge of MicroSoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
· Must be able to create basic Excel spreadsheets and update existing ones.

Qualification and Training
- Fit and healthy with a good level of physical strength to load/unload lorries using lifting equipment
· Full in-date RTITB or ITSSAR accredited Counterbalance FLT license - ESSENTIAL
· Category B Car Driving Licence with over 1 year’s experience of driving.
Work Remotely: No
Schedule: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week (guaranteed 37.5 hours). Shift mainly 7.30am until 3.30pm
