Part-Time Cleaner / Housekeeper – Flexible Hours
Location: Falmouth and surrounding area
Pay: £17 per hour
Hours: Guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week, with additional hours available during busier periods
Tinners Stays is looking for a reliable and detail-focused cleaner to help prepare our managed holiday properties for arriving guests.
We manage welcoming, well-presented holiday-home accommodation in and around Falmouth. We take pride in giving every guest a clean, comfortable place to stay and are looking for someone who shares our high standards.
About the role
- A guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week
- Usually worked across three days between 10am and 3pm
- Flexible working days arranged through the weekly rota
- Additional hours may be available during busy periods
- Cleaning and preparing properties between guest stays
- Making beds and changing linen
- Restocking guest essentials
- Reporting damage or maintenance issues
- Ensuring each property is ready and welcoming for arriving guests
This is an employed part-time position paid through PAYE. You will receive:
- £17 per hour
- A workplace pension where eligible
- A payslip and regular bank payments
- Reimbursement for business mileage when using your own vehicle to travel between properties
- Support and training from the Tinners Stays team
- The opportunity to progress into a more independent role, managing your own cleaning schedule and property rounds
Most of our properties are in and around the Falmouth area. Driving and access to your own vehicle would be preferable, as the role may involve travelling between properties during the working day. Agreed business mileage between properties will be reimbursed.
Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience would be helpful, but it is not essential. We are most interested in finding someone who:
- Is reliable and dependable
- Takes pride in their work
- Has a good eye for detail
- Can work independently and manage their time effectively
- Is friendly, trustworthy and happy to be part of a small but growing team
