Job Overview
We are looking for a qualified and motivated Electrician to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of renewable energy systems, including solar PV, battery storage, and EV charging equipment for domestic and commercial customers.

Key Responsibilities
- Install solar PV systems to current industry standards and regulations.
- Install and commission battery energy storage systems.
- Install and commission domestic and commercial EV charging points.
- Carry out electrical testing, inspection, fault finding, and diagnostics.
- Perform planned servicing and maintenance of renewable energy systems.
- Complete commissioning paperwork and customer handovers.
- Ensure all work complies with BS 7671, MCS requirements, and relevant health and safety regulations.
- Liaise professionally with customers, colleagues, and suppliers.
- Maintain accurate job records and complete all required documentation.
- Keep company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good condition.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Electrician (Level 3 NVQ or equivalent).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
- Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent) preferred.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Experience installing Solar PV systems.
- Experience with battery storage systems.
- Experience installing EV charge points.
- MCS or renewable energy experience.
- ECS Gold Card.
- Manufacturer training certificates (e.g. Tesla, GivEnergy, Sigenergy, SolarEdge, Enphase, myenergi, Hypervolt, Ohme, Zappi or similar).
