We’re looking for a passionate Assistant Chef to join our team and help deliver high‑quality, nutritious meals for the people we support. If you love creating great food and want a role where your work genuinely improves lives, this could be a perfect fit.
What You’ll Do
- Plan and prepare menus with service users, including special diets and individual preferences
- Cook and serve meals on time, maintaining excellent food hygiene standards
- Order supplies following company procedures
- Use and maintain kitchen equipment safely, reporting any issues promptly
What You’ll Bring
- NVQ Level 2 / City & Guilds
- Knowledge of special diets and texture‑modified foods
- Experience supporting people with additional needs (desirable)
- Strong communication and record‑keeping skills
- A calm, motivated, team‑focused approach
