JPS are a leading independent welfare cabin and powered access hire company. As our fleet of towable welfare units continues to grow, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Welfare Cabin Engineer to service, maintain and repair our welfare units and keep them ready for hire.
Key Responsibilities
· Service, maintain and repair towable welfare units across the fleet
· Diagnose and repair generators, solar/hybrid power systems, heating, lighting and plumbing
· Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) and prepare units for hire
· Fault-find and repair 12V, 24V and 240V electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems
· Complete accurate service records and report parts requirements
· Ensure all units meet health, safety and quality standards
Requirements
· Experience servicing welfare units, plant, generators or similar mobile equipment
· Sound electrical and mechanical knowledge (recognised electrical qualification an advantage)
· Full UK driving licence – towing (B+E) entitlement preferred
· Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Reliable, self-motivated and safety-focused
£35,000 – £45,000 per year (DOE, plus overtime and bonus)
