Duties
- Lead by example and supervise garden maintenance staff, providing clear direction and support to ensure efficient operations
- Oversee routine landscape maintenance tasks including pruning, mowing, planting, mulching, and weeding
- Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and irrigation equipment safely and effectively to complete daily tasks
- Conduct regular inspections of gardens to assess plant health, soil conditions, and overall appearance
- Coordinate with our Director and office team on horticultural projects, plant selection, and growth strategies for optimal garden vitality
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, plant inventories, and equipment usage
Experience
- Proven experience in gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance with a strong understanding of plant care
- Hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, irrigation systems, and gardening equipment
- Leadership or supervisory experience in a garden or landscape setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques combined with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining high standards of safety and quality

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
